I have not been able to knit or crochet at all today :( Somehow I managed to pull a muscle or pinch a nerve in my right shoulder/neck/arm. I soldiered on yesterday even though I was in pain and woke up this morning in even more pain, so at least for today I've not picked up either needles or hook...very disappointing.
I did however read some of The Hobbit. I can't say how many times I've read it, having lost count long ago. Please if your only experience with Tolkien is Peter Jackson's movies, give yourself a treat and read the books. They are very different, and infinitely better.
