First red hat...

I finished the first newborn red hat yesterday, and sewed it up this evening.  I am so terrible at sewing up!  At any rate, I think the yarn needs to be a slightly different kind....softer, thinner, and I'm definitely going to knit in the round next time.  I expect it will be on double pointed needles as the stitch count will probably not be very comfortable on a circular.
I also started to crochet another lapghan this evening.  This time in a ripple pattern...in purples.  I expect I'll post a pic tomorrow, once I get a little bit along.
