Red newborn hats for charity.....

A group in Michigan is trying to make the goal of 1000 knit/crocheted red hats for newborns by January 21st.  The story, and address to send the made hats, is in the link below.  I started one this evening.  I just happen to have bunch of red yarn that I bought for another project and decided not to use, making it out of another color instead.
